Its easy to imagine being so small in the nature of things.Painful even,to believe that our lives contribute so little in the timeline of humanity. And so today,I choose to make it matter,to make each day count, more than the last, and to never, ever forget to be thankful for another day.
I see faces around me growing older and wiser.Soon to be but a ache in a loved ones heart and a question will arise and be heard with a whisper in the wind,....What will I be remembered for?

It's reality to be reminded of our insignificance. To be reminded that each day that passes,is a opportunity lost,a gift given,a blessing. In the daily world of to-do's I loose myself in task, forgetting to...look up..breathe in...kiss more...laugh loud..hold hands...show kindness...but with my heart open I learn again.

Today I make a choice..what about you?

What a wonderful, thoughtful post - such truth! Life is definitely all about choices, so thanks for inspiring me to make some good ones today.

I happened upon your blog by chance tonight Cat, and I am so, so happy that I did.... this opening paragraph has really touched a cord with me. Its so very easy to forget just how good we've got it, and take all for granted... I hope my outlook is different tomorrow, in fact I know it will be- a lot more looking, laughing, kissing, and hand holding. Life IS good, its a good job I love the smell of coffee,
regards Oonagh @ CeltoiCroi,
P.S. I look forward to reading more.

Nice post...:)

... I so much think about insignificance of human beings...

And about how important it is to be happy and make happy people around me... about beauty of being alive, about beauty of love and about beauty of to be loved...

And about how important it is to make right choices everyday... I strongly believe that we never know how important in the future can be something insignificant now...

And... Is there any better feeling than falling asleep with feeling that you have made someone happy that day?:)

Have a great day!

Cat, What a beautifully written post! These same thoughts have been running through me lately, too. I want to leave this life knowing I've made the tiniest difference in the lives of the people whose paths I've crossed, whether it's a smile, or a kind word or just the patience to have really listened for a few moments. We do have a choice, you are spot on.
Thank you, Cat.

It is solemn scenery.

It is just what you say.
Every day is continuation of valuable choice.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Greetings.
