Just call me Zentangle Obsessed!

Last week I cam across Zentangle art..what is it you ask? It "is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity. Zentangle provides artistic satisfaction and an increased sense of personal well being. In a word, its a Doodle."....... I think I have gone doodle in my noodle..Check out this wonderful u-tube video(turn off the sound if its to much) and sit back and enjoy!

And..here are some of my new ACEO listed on EBAY..

Thhhhiiissss iiiiissss Ffffffuuuunnnn!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by

Beautiful and detailed zentangle work! I love this video- I think the idea is to just let go and not worry about where you go. I doodle while I'm on the phone - now to turn it into art!

Is it just me or does anyone else remember doing this in the 60's and 70's? It just went along with the psychedelic art. We would also highlight different patterns within the piece with glow in the dark paint. -Marlene

I remember doing this kind of art in the 70's, looks like it's still lots of fun and very liberating. oOo x

What a fun video! I didn't know this had a name other than doodling. I haven't done this in a long time. I think it's time to go play.

Thanks so much for sharing Cat, these are truly inspirational. Got me searching for the mad doodles I used to do in the 70's. I think I'm
going to enjoy zentangle art. Thanks again, I love your art oOo
