Why Do the kids get to have all the Fun?

We did some tie dye this weekend. The kids created some wonderful shirts and I stood by eyeing the deep colors of dye,wondering... what could I do with that stuff..

Don't laugh..I know you all you artist out there..are sometimes looking at your kids crafts and thinking..I could make something really fun with that..

The colors were so deep and rich I thought...why not dye some gauze with the left over dye..

Then Joshua and I made some paper, recycling scraps and fibers...

The paper turned out to have some yummy texture..and again that thought crept into my head..What Could I do with that?...Yes..I get it..I have issues..

Well, with so many yummy goodies floating around,I was at last inspired to get my listings for the week finished...

"Anything is Possible"Mini Wooden Block

"Memories" Mini flip Book

"Dare to Believe" Hanging Wood Doll
(made with some of that lime green gauze)

Looks like a fun afternoon of creating was had by all!
The difference between us though is while I may think, "what could I do with that?", YOU actually create something incredible with your kid's crafts! Your new pieces are so sweet and sentimental.

Such beautiful things! I'm dying over the last one.

My 17 year old tie dyed shirts about a month ago and I was so jealous that she didn't wait for me. It's such fun.
