Contagious Copper,Giveaway Winner,and December Fun

Hello friends..I hope you are all enjoying every minute of this wonderful Holiday Season. I have really enjoyed having everyone home..the only downside is that I think I may have had a marshmallow overload.. I don't think I can look another marshmallow in the eye...at least not for a while anyway..it all started with a cup of cocoa..

and then continued on with rice crispies treats, marshmallow popcorn balls..and ended with nutter butter sandwiches..Ugh..no more..I just cant..

I did  have some playtime this week ..having a thrill with copper..I didn't realize it would be so contagious and fun...Here are some new earrings that read "Know Thyself" in Latin..

 And some hoop earrings...

and a rustic looking necklace that I hand stamped "Dream"...

and what about a copper and leather cuff...Mmmmm I'm still working on this idea..

But even though my mind may tend to wander off, the kids help me to come back down to earth...here we are having fun with new rollerblades and scooter!!

You guys didn't see that mess in the garage did ya?Eeek..I have to do some cleaning..

Now for the winner to my last Giveaway...The Winner of my last Giveaway is Dari from http://musingsofaseawitch.blogspot.com/    Just email me and let me know what you would like me to put on your cuff!!

As always,
thank you so much for stopping by

Hello Cat - glad to hear your heart is happy with marshmallow overload. Reminds me of my 2 and 4 year old nephews whose ears perk up at the very same thing - it started with sweet potato casserole (and marshmallows on top!).
I totally agree - copper can be VERY addictive. I love it! Lately I've been in an antiqued brass frame of mind as well.
Thanks for sharing the sweet pictures of your kids having fun - luckily in FL it isn't too cold to get out there still!

Love the copper jewelry. I am spend the winter in an old copper mining town . It is funny in the old houses all the hinges, knobs etc are made of copper. I too am done with Marshmallow for a while. I went on a hot coco binge for about 2 weeks .
Just love seeing your work...your jewlery, your beautiful children, your marshmallows, even your messy garage!

Best wishes to you all of a new year filled with love and joy!

Hi Cat! Thanks so much for your sweet comment on the blog! Very appreciated... and as far as sharing my talent, it looks to me like you've got tons that you could share yourself! I love your work... all the metal, patinas, and details. So lovely. Hope you're enjoying a lovely (and now marshmallow free) day! (I love me some marshmallows!) :) -Shelly

Love your creations, that necklace is awesome! The kids are too cute!
It is nice you have the weather so they can use the new scooter and skates, you would need a sled here.We have had fog the last 2 days that leaves the trees coated with a thick frost until the sun melts it away. The sugar is overpowering me, but I can't stay away from it.

Hi Cat,

Aren't garage's supposed to be messy??? I am on goodie overload too, although with our weather a cup of cocoa sounds about right. New copper work is fab, love the green beads on those earings. Can't wait to wear my new cuff! xox Corrine
Looks like you had a wonderful holiday even with the marshmallow overload! The new copper creations are beautiful. Best wishes for a happy 2011!
