Sea Glass Pendants and My sweet friend Cheryl

Oh my the weather around here has been Glorious...yes GL..OOOR..RIII..OUS!
and with the warm and gentle breeze comes inspiration.
Having an assortment of sea glass floating around my office
they screamed and sang...
"Come play with us",
and so I did.

1-using some left over rub-ons,I put them on the glass.
2-Using copper foil,I Iron Soldered on a frame and jump rings
3-Using Novacan I added patina to the solder
4-Added a layer of ICE Resin
5-Once Cured,I sprinkled some of S.L.K glass glitter
6-Added another layer of Ice Resin

there you go...Sea Glass Pendants!!

What fun!!

Now before I go,I just want to thank Cheryl, the winner of my Giveaway a few weeks back.Well she had emailed me and asked me some questions in regards to my art and today she posted about the win and I am so thankful for this generous post.

Cat, these are absolutely lovely! I love the beautiful rub-ons. I've never used Ice Resin before but one of these days I need try it out, along with soldering.

It snowed here yesterday, and today the snow is nearly gone with temps in the upper 40's. But its a gloomy day, good for staying inside and sipping warm tea.

Have a wonderful day!
Hi Cat,
I love your sea glass pendants; I've been a collector of Sea glass for many years (lived on Lake Michigan). Your work is fabulous and it inspires me to try Ice Resin. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

I do not know what ice resin is and I never heard of ironing solder, but I love your pendants. I am dying to learn how to solder on copper foil that I bought to go around glass slides and also add jump rings so I can hang it as a pendant for a tag or book or whatever. So I guess it is time to make a trip to You Tube...I also hope you are on it.
