it never occurred to me until now, but after reading about this button swap there are powerful archaeological overtones in your work - the capturing of fragments of life and seeing them frozen forever in your lovely jewelry is not unlike excavating and finding remnant's of someone's past. all we have is that collection of objects to try and divine their past - like a set of clues in a mystery.

i love the work you do and the art you create, dear cat. each object is a little mirror into one's soul...

Love the fiber that you included in your designs. The fiber gives a light airy quality to each piece, which I think is especially important for summer. Thanks so much for sharing.

Cat, yes, when I think of buttons, I do think of you! I love how you have incorporated them in your mixed media work in the past, and now in your jewlery. Heather sent you 4 amazing buttons, and you sure did them justice! The wrap bracelet is really a fantastic idea - what a way to show of her polymer button. I especially love the soldered pendant with the burst of bright yellow. Absolutely stunning. I won't be surprised to see more polymer clay in your work in the future!
