Small Changes = Big Impact

Now my noggin is always trying to figure out how to make small changes to already beautiful items....here are some small changes that make a big impact...

Using a beautiful brass bird stamping,I hammered it on a round mandrel and then soldered on jump rings made out of bronze wire...

I added some patina, then attached some delicious leather cord, closure and beads.

Here I simply added metal paint to a yummy copper plated frame

and lastly I wanted to add some bling to a ready made bronze bezel,so I cut up some rhinestone strand and attached it to the frame with resin creating a scalloped frame.I LOVE this look!!

I finished this piece with a yummy handmade leather bail, brass drop Paper Whimsy Image and resin.

So,there you go,making small changes, but having a big impact! Happy Creating friends!!

"Long ago God drew a circle in the sand exactly around the spot where you are standing right now. You were never not coming here. This was never not going to happen.” — Elizabeth Gilbert

You are amazing and I LOVE your creations, I wish you were closer so we could play together...thanks for blogging, it is a great way for the rest of us to appreciate the beauty. I have a thought that wanders through my mind...if someone creates something and no one sees it is it creative? Can you create in a vacuum?....

Oh I just love the way you create dear Cat!! I just thought of you today when I found a slip of paper a friend had given me who does altered books and who wrote down where she gets her supplies - from the Creative Underground in Fort Collins, Colorado. Wondering if you've heard of them as they do similar work?
