I'm running away....and joining the circus!

Ok come on,you know you want to...I mean who doesn't..at least for a little while, want to escape to the circus!

After I assembled the Circus Wagon cart I painted the front and back in Americana's Lipstick Red paint and then using a dry brush I brushed on some white Deco Arts Media Gesso.

Next I added splatters of Deco Art Media Fluids Carbon Black and Cobalt Teal. I then took some Deco Arts Gold Rush Metallic Lustre and mixed it with some drops of water. This created a vibrant gold that I used to splatter on the piece.

I painted the wheels in the same color teal...

and attached them to the base as well as adding Gold Mini Dresden Trim. I also sprayed on some of the Gold metallic lustre on the wheels. Plus I added card stock to the inside and outside walls.

In order for the animals to pop out I glued in some spacers.

I attached circus paper cuts and added Stickles glitter glue to all the edges.

Last minute,I decided to change the ticket by adding another circus cut out and word text as well as adding height by adding wire tinsel stems and painted teal card stock. Final touches included rhinestones on the wheels,Black Dresden on the sides, and more glitter glue on the edges.

This week I also managed to make these yummy Art Tags using Retro Cafe Art's chipboard words! I simply painted them with Rich Expresso Dazzling Metallic paint. I love the way came out and the way they pop on the tags!

Lastly,I wanted to announce the winner of Brenda Schweder's Dvd giveaway from the last post..
Thank you to those that participated!!
Heather from Thicketworks!
