K & S Colors, Blog Hop!
Well hello creative friends! Yea, it's been a hot minute since I shared a blog post, a couple of years in
fact, but who's counting. What matters is the here and now and right now I'm playing with K & S Colors, Alum Foils. I was invited to participate in a blog hop and try these beauties out! I have a VERY hard time saying no when any kind of metal is involved. 😁heehee
If you're not familiar with these they come in an assortment of beautiful colors, they're perfect for cutting, crimping, embossing, and more! They come in .0004 thick x 12 wide which gives you a lot to play with it!
Now I have to admit I've played with their copper foil in the past. I loved it for creating texture! But in this case, I wanted to go beyond the texture. I wanted to see what else I could do with this metal, specifically what I could use on top of it to create new and unique backgrounds.
Here I played with Spray paint, Rub Ons and Acrylic Paint!
Check out my full video below, I come up with some pretty amazing results using products already in my studio. All I can say is I am now looking at K&S Colors in a whole new way.
