Art is Life

Art is You Stamford Ct.
where to start.

So many beautiful memories,it's hard to pick just a handful. But let me start off by saying, I had the chance of meeting so many wonderful online friends for the first time and also reconnecting with friends I made last year. Here's Terri,Lynne,me and Cara...

and here I am after Colleen gifted me with this gorgeous apron...I think I showed it to every single person I came in contact with...and boy were they jealous...heehee...

Here's Ingrid (my sis, that graciously came to give me a helping hand in my first live classes) and I goofing around in class...yes,as a new live teacher my hands were shaking,my heart was racing...but everyone was so kind and generous...

...here are some awesome students Patricia and Cindy...

and two close to my heart friends...Patti and Terri...

and sweet Betty working on her Glass Tubes...

Here's some finished pendants from some of the students...like Terrie, and Terry and Patricia, and Laura...

and after my classes were finished...I then took Richards and Jessica's amazing ring class...

and of course,Michael's "Tiny Shriney" class...

Sadly, I didn't finish my projects...Ingrid says it's because I talk to much..
heehee..
maybe she's right.

But when the time came to say goodbye...I'll admit it,I was an emotional mess...so much sharing and caring, and stories and laughs and overcoming fear, and feeling alive...
it was hard to walk away from that...
Here's Dawn and I saying farewell...
but there's next year right...
and I'll be there with bells on.

One final note, unfortunately I lost all my photos from the retreat. The above photos were taken by other kind souls.I had hoped on sharing class photos just so I could say thank you to them....thank you for giving this newbie a shot...
so to my students...
Thank you.
From the bottom of my heart
and a special thank you to
sweet Laura,Edie,Kim,Carolyn,Maria,Terry,Patti,Lynne,Linda...
to all the teachers and their kind words of encouragement,
to Sal and Ellen
to my big sis Ingrid.
Sometimes there aren't enough words.

Hannah

A couple of years ago,I promised my daughter Hannah a trip to NY for her sweet 16. I still cant believe she's going to be 16...my baby girl,...
So I picked her up early from school, bags packed, ready to roll...
and up in the sky we went, minus one luggage,we accidentally left home(Ughhhhhh...)

My Sister Ingrid picked us up and we drove into the city and checked into Millennium on Broadway.
We walked and walked checking out the sites...

and at night we took in "Wicked" and made some awesome memories...
the next day we walked some more, and ended up in Central Park Zoo...

and after, had a fun portrait of Hannah made ..

and soon after we drove back to Long Island and vegged at my sisters house.
I always love visiting her house...it's so relaxing and beautiful.

and full of flowers

and her doggies,cats,chickens,fish pond,and goats...
yes,it was a pretty awesome trip. Hannah couldn't stop talking about it and we made some beautiful memories and I am so thankful for every single minute.
So now...back home...
I find myself packing again...heehee...
off to teach at Art is You Stamford.
These days are full.Full of happiness and joy and new beginnings.
