We had a family night with Ky (8 yrs old) last night and the lesson was about Gratitude lists, and so she made a list of five things she was grateful for. Of those the cutest was "I am grateful that daddy has a good job." I was touched, even children understand the state of our economy. Ann PD4U

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Mixed media art is not my kind but sometimes I find something that catches my eyes, it's this journal today. The colors and composition is just perfect. I love how you put the pink lace with butterfly, sweet :-) and the blue star on cozy brown too!

Very nice! I'm following you :-)
I adore altered things, and am self teaching myself how to do it. I make cards and tags, piecing and snipping. I've evolved. I'm extremely thankful that I've found your blog, and your etsy site.
Cool beans!

Fabulous work, cat!!!!
That is just beautiful Cat!
It is so hard to name just 1 thing. Our family has been so blessed - when things have been good & when they've been hard. I'm so thankful for my family, friends & the good Lord above! :)

Hi Cat.
Thanks for your kind words and visiting my blog. Your journal is lovely and such a generous gesture. I am grateful for being able to look at my life and appreciate what I have, loving family, dear friends and the opportunity to do my art, despite the ups and downs. To realise that the tunnel isn't always straight - that there's usually a bend in the tunnel, turn it and that's where I will see the light.
I absolutely love your soothing music. I minimized your site so I could continue to listen. It was like floating on a moonbeam, on the back of a winged creature. Lovely.

i am grateful for sidewalk chalk. even in cool november the brightness of letters & whatever comes to mind splayed on the ground around you is a delight... i'm grateful for the colourful dust excess on my jeans, the imprints on my palms, and the fun you can have even as college student with sidewalk chalk.

Hi Cat!
Love your beautiful blog, but what else could it be by your artistic hand.
I am so very grateful for the family I am blessed with. My husband is so supportive of all my creative endeavors. And my father and mother were always right there telling me I could do anything I set my mind to...and they were absolutely right. They made me believe anything is possible.
Hope I win...the little girl on the right is my most favorite cutie pie in the world of vintage postcards.
Thanks so much! Jackie
Thank you all for helping me along on my first Giveaway. And thank you so much for sharing so much of yourselves.I am grateful to each and every one of you.Warmest Regards,Cat

Hi, beautiful journal!:)
I am grateful for everything that happens to me and make me happier or stronger. Today I am grateful for blue sky and golden twinkle of the Sun. (Beacause lately it was always gray and cloudy.) I am grateful for my lovely boyfriend who gave me a hug in the morning and sent me to the work the way like loving mother send his beloved child to the school.I am grateful for my wonderful colleague who gave me a tangerine and made me feel like it is Christmas today. I am grateful for my senses because thank to them I can feel fresh autumn air on my face, smell the wet leaves underneath my feet, feel a taste of creamy hot chocolate for my breakfest and see the beauty of the city where I live while travelling by tram to the work. I have really looooots of "things" for which a should be grateful. And try do my best to be greatful:)

Good Heavens, you blog is GORGEOUS! Well, I am thankful that I can realize that God does not shut doors without opening others. My family has been hit furiously by the economy; My husband lost his job, we had to foreclose on our home, a vehicle got repossessed, etc. But out of all of this, so much GOOD has happened. Not only did all of this make me stronger, it gave me a new outlook on life. What does not kill us really does make us stronger!
