Background,Ebay,Giveaway,Tutorial,Inspiration,blah..blah..blah

Happy Wed Everyone!!I have been busy with a little bit of this and a little bit of that lately.I have diligently been trying to create my own banner and background for the blog.I found so many wonderful helpful sites, but the only one I was able to understand was Kevin and Amanda's.They really gave me step by step directions and for a novice like me it was truly helpful. Here is the link,if anyone wants to give it a try.

http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsnew/tutorials/how-to-make-a-scrapbook-blog-background.html

I also used a background image from Shadowhouse Creations.Jerry offers tons and tons of freebies..Check him out at.. http://shadowhousecreations.blogspot.com/

I also have some new listings on Ebay. The first is a hanging shadow box named "Journey"..Covered in what else...beeswax of course.

Plus a new melted felt ACEO.I originally had a plan to have a tutorial on my newsletter, however I seem to be having problems with newsletter lately and decided to give you all a sneak peak at the process.

Melt felt with a heat gun,Sew backing,Assemble and Glue.Easy Peasy,Lemon Squeezy!

And now its time for a Giveaway..This little beauty loves to be on stage.Created using Alpha Stamps collage sheets, vintage reprint, crepe,Dresden trim, floral findings, and chain. The base measures approx 3" x 4".

All you have to do is leave me a comment that you are interested, and spread the word around about the giveaway.I will announce the winner on Friday May 7th.

Lastly,Check out what sis made for me..my favorite line, from my favorite quote,"The Journey"(on sidebar)."One Day you finally knew what you had to do,and began." Isn't it lovely, and it offers tons of inspiration in my craft room...Thanks Sis!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by

Hey Cat, If it is not too late please enter my name for your snazzy giftaway. Also thanks for providing us with a good link for creating our blog headers. Everything "free" I can find is just somehow not quite right although there are some really great free resources. I'd like to try designing my own. Peace, Mollye
Hi Cat, thank you for the beautiful song. I love looking at your blog, it really inspires me. I would love to win your beautiful piece so I can show Lupe that I have one too. LOL. Don't pull your hair out, unless it's on your legs or lip. Be patient. This song is awesome. Makes me miss my grandma. Lived with her for 25 years. Got a lot of good advice from her. Wish I would have listened.
