The Perfect Journey is Circular

"Mindful"by Mary Oliver

Every day
I see or hear
something
that more or less
kills me
with delight,
that leaves me
like a needle
in the haystack
of light.

(sadsolitudephotostream)

It was what I was born for -
to look, to listen,
to lose myself
inside this soft world -
to instruct myself
over and over
in joy,
and acclamation.

(Drops of Spring-by Stevetookit's Photostream)

Nor am I talking
about the exceptional,
the fearful, the dreadful,
the very extravagant -
but of the ordinary,
the common, the very drab,
the daily presentations.
Oh, good scholar,
I say to myself,
how can you help
but grow wise
with such teachings
as these -
the untrimmable light
of the world,
the ocean's shine,
the prayers that are made
out of grass?

I am thoroughly enjoying a new technique...Melting Felt..Ooh la la...what joy to see the transformation. Here a simple and sweet treasure book named "Home". Made with felt, premium paper, stickers, and all sorts of doo-dads.With only two panels, the last is made to hold precious keepsakes of Home.

Can you see the texture in the felt?

As always, thank you so much for stopping by

So pleased you liked the video, thank you for letting me know.

I had a ning group, it somehow got hacked into so I closed it.
I didn't wish to open it up until I understood everthing and how it works. It is quite complicated.
Will have another go.

Happy Easter!

:D HUGE SMILE!

Hugs!

Very nice. Both. The poem and the felt book. Is that a diary?

Or maybe..not? I think it would be really precious to put in a few more pages recording only the most tender thoughts of love for someone closest to our heart..
