A new Altered Wooden Plaque named "Be". Made with a vintage reprint, ephemera, metal doo-dads and more.Covered in a layer of beeswax.
"Travel" ACEO Art Card
And trying something new on this altered bottle named "Joy"..I got a little wax crazy on this one, mixing in crayon and all kinds of goodies. The bottle is completely covered in a layer of wax.
Exquisite creations, Cat! Would love to know how you use the beeswax on your creations...absolutely stunning pieces! Payday, I will be checking out your Etsy store! I would like to send you a picture of a box I made to get your feedback if you don't mind, but I don't want to post it on my blog because it is a gift. Will take a picture of it when done...almost done but not quite...should get it done today.
Its surprising to me that I never play with wax, for I love the look so much. I have a small wooden box that I've been wondering what to do with, and I might just use it for a bees wax project. Thanks for the inspiration. These really are some of my favorite pieces I've seen.
Love your vintage stuff. I'm wondering how you apply the beeswax. Do you rub it on? Melt it?

Neither lost or found, I like this very much. Although it must feel strange to feel this way. Maybe we are more in tune with the stars than we think? Or something? Thank you for sharing your beautiful messages with me, you've right cheered me up no end! Your art is looking awesome! Hugs! Julie
Cat, I came over to see you from Corgidogmama. And...WOW! Do you ever teach? I have not done anything w/beeswax yet, but I'm working up to it. I have to say, I outdid myself on my card that I sent for my give-away...but I didn't take any photos! I used to take photos of everything I made! Do YOU? Wonderful to find you...I'll be back! Hoosier hugs, Cheryl
