Lost then Found

It started off like any other.Excited about the creative day ahead of me..But upon entering my creative space I became overwhelmed with the abundance of chaos in my work space. My mind became cluttered and closed and I immediately withdrew hoping to find my muse within the soft spoken keys at my fingertips

Scanning my latest U-tube treasures,"Arttradermagazine"caught my eye. Using scraps from my table..Yes!!Brilliant!! I can create and clean up at the same time..How wonderful is that!! Check out her great tutorial!!

And so I began.Starting with a premade 6"x 6" canvas covered in Gesso.

I then glued all kinds of table scraps on to the canvas..

Once it dried I began to paint...and paint..and paint..I just couldn't seem to pick a color I was happy with..so I ended up with spray painting the base black..
.

..and after careful consideration,I choose this beautiful acrylic metallic copper as the top layer..and when I painted it...something happened..something wonderful..my vision took a turn and the Michael Demeng inside me started to scream..His awesome use of unwanted treasures provoke every nerve ending in my being and so inspired by his work, I attempted to make my very own M.D inspired piece.

Now I don't know about you,but for me..something happens when the breeze grazes my shoulder,or when my fingers slide underneath the soil,or when my face feels the cool and fresh water of the ocean..Something happens..unexplainable yet real.As it does when I reach for the perfect pieces to finish my canvas.Perhaps it is a whisper of gratitude,..a knowing of grace,..whatever it is.. it also happens when that perfect trinket touches my fingers...and there is nothing but clarity.

Your brain... is just scary sometimes... how you come up with these magnificent little creations out of virtual scraps! The whole evolving process is awesome, isn't it? Your belly gets that little flutter...and a smile suddenly comes upon your face when you just know that it's going to gel, and end up as something just plain cool!!

Really enjoyed your post! What an amazing piece you have created! I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to 1) Try it and 2) cover it over in black when you didn't like the color you had! OMGoodness! Very cool!
Everything you create is so unique! You see the world through an artist's eyes! Beautiful! ♥

Talk about getting your creative juices flowing!!! Maybe tomorrow, I'll clean house and do this; I will need a canvas the size of a football field to get this house in order!!!!! Great work!
