There is Something Wonderful about Soft with Hard
I was thrilled to pieces when I saw the 50% off sign at my local craft store for these yummy goodies that I have been keeping an eye on.I've played with metal flashing but this day I decided that at this price I simply had to go to the next level....and so I bought some 24 gauge metal sheets,a metal hole puncher, anvil, and a new 1/4" metal stamp set that I picked up for a unbelievable price.I was especially thrilled that at last I could use some of my old leather belts that I have been saving to do SOMETHING with.
And so the plan..make myself a snazzy new cuff with my name on it...
As always,

I had so much fun hammering away..and Ooooh how I love the hard metal with the softness of the mesh and leather....By now I couldn't seem to stop..and I had no other choice in the matter...but to make some more.
...and Hammering..
...Still Hammering...
Now I am really in trouble..cant seem to stop..
Anybody know of a Hammering Anonymous in the neighborhood!

NOTHING feels like working with metal, manipulating, and morphing it into your own!
