5 to 10 Minutes..I'll Take it!!

Where has the time gone...This time of year is the beginning of Crazy!! The beginning of school party planning, emailing parents, book fair, fall festival,Holiday Hooplah !!Blah..Blah..blah..

It is also during this time of year that I am especially grateful that my little art is not very time consuming.I can squeeze in 5 to 10 minutes at a time...in between laundry loads and after school activities..while dinner is cooking..after school relax time..before story time...Come on...You Moms know what I'm talking about!!

Thankfully I carry around a mini notebook for ideas and that helps me when I have my few precious moments to create.

Here are some of  last weeks 10 ..minutes..at.. a.. time..Wonders.

"Nest" Mini Fan Style Tag Book

"T is for Time" Altered File Folder

..And some new ACEO'S going up tonight on EBAY
(a favorite 10 Minute fix)

..and just this morning..with notebook in hand..I created this new necklace.

Wouldn't it be lovely to carry around some "Happy Day" Memories in a bottle?
What would you carry around in a bottle?

                                                                          As always,
thank you so much for stopping by

I was thinking about this while making the bed this morning. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a whole day to create, no interruptions, no meals to cook, nothing to run for or anything to clean? You surly have made your 10 minutes at a time count! Love them all!

(((HUGS)))
What pretty things...I especially love the sweet necklace! And this is such good advice! That's why it's important to keep our creative tools out...ready to create when we have that few minutes! Have a wonderful week! ♥

Fab 10 minutes at a time wonders Cat. That tag book is so swell. Having four dogs is like having four toddlers and I spend alot of time on letting them in and out. I so get what you mean about making in small intervals.
Beautiful work as always. xox Corrine

Cat, such gorgeous, whimsical, unique pieces...totally adorable! I love the mini fan style tag book.. very cool design! your happy day necklace is the best.. you should write a book how to art in ten minutes or less.. you really maximize those minutes into beautiful pieces!
Not only is your music utterly fantastic, your current listings on ebay and etsy just made my old heart go pitter-pat! Wowsers girl....you have amazing talent, and your prices are darn decent as well~

Beautiful creations, Cat...as always. I am always amazed! Love them all!

What would memories would I put in the little bottle? The birth of my kids. The times we had playing in the sand box...playing with the tea set and playing games. But I know it will come around again with the birth of my first grand child. Hugs, Lupe

Being organized, having the space to just go do it is the key, throw in a little self discipline and you are on your way - like I would know, lol!

ah dear cat, i am smiling as i write this. i do indeed know what you are talking about and it makes my heart ache thinking about it (in a good way).

you are in the moment right now, the busiest you'll probably ever be, and look at how beautifully you handle it all. never think you can't find time or aren't doing enough, you'll always do the things that matter. even if they come in bits and pieces. and i know this because of the passion you put into everything you do. your beautiful children, your gorgeous art, and lots i'm sure you don't share here.

life is good ♥
love,
lori
