"Happy Little Mistakes" with Soldered Boxes and Filigree
As a proud Momma one has to brag..My little guy saved for 3 1/2 months so that he could get this Wii game..I am so proud of him..Great job Josh!! Momma loves you.

This week I have been playing with filigree..Attaching it to long soldered boxes..
at first I was unhappy with the solder flowing over the filigree..
my initial idea was to have the filigree show..
...but I quickly started to like the look of the solder covering it and still leaving some holes peaking through..
One of those..Happy little Mistakes..
..and once the pieces were finished I added some patina to give them that overall "old" look.
"Create","Found" and "Reminisce"
created with brass sheets,filigree,trinkets
and a resin.
Now in the Shop.
I also had a chance to finish up a mini journal..It was in need of something special hanging off to the side and so I filled one of my soldered boxes with something different..
a fabric bead...
Ooh I just love that hard metal with the softness of the bead.
"Emerge" can be found Here.

Way to go Josh!
your pieces are gorgeous cat, love all the detail, they are all little works of art.
Really gorgeous work, love the textures, the sentiments, and the feeling your necklaces evoke.

at first I feel honored with your visit to my blog. I look at your blog very often, because I love your works. I think they are beautiful and unique. I would like to have such talent :)
I love handmade works. I'm trying my hand at this field, but .... :)
You ask what I write on my blog. Well, mostly I write about what excites me (music, movies) and about my everyday life. In my last post, I reflect on what I should do during a long holiday. I also write about cycling trip outside the city. That's when I did the photos that you liked.
If you wish, you can use the gadget, "Translate my website," to know what I write in my posts. This gadget is on the right side, under the profile photo. Translation will not be perfect, but it does not matter :)
Whew! Talker of me :))
Thanks for your visits on my blog, Cat. It's very nice. Regards from Poland!
you made me pleasure your answer, thank you. And now let's try to solve our problem. I think, this button is not active, but after selecting item "angielski" (English) from a list of languages ("Wybierz język") and next using underneath button "Przetłumacz" (Translate) - it should be OK :)
I will be surprised if it does not work.
I also want to tell you, recently I use browser Google Chrome, it's really perfect. It gives you the ability to automatically translate every websites in other languages. It is worth to try it out :)
Forgive me if I write about it, what you know good :)
Hugs, Małgosia
and the poem, so very very fitting... keep reaching and dreaming...
