"My Home Song" On-line Class at Creative Workshops!!
I am very excited to announce a new upcoming online class at Creative Workshops!
These pendants were inspired by the poem “A Home Song” by Henry Van Dyke. I believe that every home has a song…each unique and special only to those that live within its walls. This private song carries its voice within these pendants and they float with memories of happiness and good times and love.

These pendants were inspired by the poem “A Home Song” by Henry Van Dyke. I believe that every home has a song…each unique and special only to those that live within its walls. This private song carries its voice within these pendants and they float with memories of happiness and good times and love.
As an
artist, I tried to capture my song in the objects that I embedded inside the
resin…Sweetly remembering the sound of the beach and picking up shells…or the
songs of the birds in the trees outside my bedroom window… even the soft hum
coming from my mother as she planted her flowers and tended to them with gentle
care.
These memories created my Home Song. They created a
visual reminder of special times that up until now, I carried deep within my
heart.
