The Go-to Necklace

My friend Cyndi recently asked me at a play date..."Do I have a go-to Necklace?" ...A piece that I can go-to with what ever I have on....Well,not really...that is until I came across a pendant that truly spoke to me... while visiting my sweet friends Mary Jane's blog I ran through her shop and came across this stunner pendant and simply couldn't resist.Turns out when setting up for a play date with Cyndi and Barbara Cyndi mentioned this new book Bohemian Inspired Jewelry and Mary Jane's  pendant (the same pendant I purchased)was featured in the new book and I can totally see why.Mary Jane has such a gift at speaking volumes with simplicity and I am in utter awe. This is a lesson I desperately need to learn and need to stop "adding" all the time.

(L-R Cat,Barbara,Cyndi)

So while at my play date with Cyndi and Barbara, Barbara took out her beautiful polymer beads...which I had seen in her shop, but never up close. I always loved her sweet little eggs and purchased some to play with, but one little egg already had a home,in my heart,to go with my new pendant from Mary Jane...

The pendant reads...
"We are Star Stuff" Dr Carl Sagan
This is my Go-To Necklace.
and I love it.

I'm also happy to share a new tutorial on the Ice Resin blog....actually,it's my last tutorial as part of the Ice Resin Creative Team.My Happy Heart assemblage was created by using from the  Industrial Chic Micheal's line.To see the video just click here.

Plus,I have been busy busy finishing up my new online class "Inspirational Pendants" at Creative Workshops!

...and setting up my new Dvd for sale... "My Home Song" Soldered Pendant ... This class is still available at Creative Workshops, but I have had some ask about offering a Dvd and so I decided to put it together and offer the Dvd in Shop.
For this months Giveaway,I'm offering my new Dvd "My Home Song".Just leave me a comment, share my post with friends any way you wish, blog, facebook, twitter and I will pick a winner Monday Oct.8th.

As always,
thank you so much for stopping by

How lucky that you have these wonderful play dates! I've been trying to hook up with some here in my area but it seems they are few and far between.

I've been lusting over that beautiful pendant of Mary Jane's for a while now and can see why it has become a part of your 'go to' necklace.

I would love to win your new DVD

Beautiful creations, Cat!! Wow, a DVD...awesome! Will also keep my fingers crossed. It is probably too late to take advantage of your Inspirational Pendants class, right? After helping my son with his mortgage payment this past month, no extra money for me. I have to wait till the beginning of October. Looks like I missed out! Drats!

I did not realize there were so many creative jewelry people in my area! I live just south of Barbara in Melbourne. I would love to join you all for a play date some time!! I have taken a hiatus from jewelry because we recently moved, and I am still trying to get settled, but I am anxious to get back to my jewelry making. I would love a chance to win a dvd - looks like a great class!
